In election periods there is much talk about the segmentation of the vote. The vote of women, young people, old people, racial minorities and even sexual orientation in the case of LGBT groups. In fact, it is the candidate's program, his track record, his charisma in convincing the audience and of course, his promises what capture the general interest. The latter are delicate if they are very radical changes in existing policies and require a majority of Congress.
And of course the presence and attitude help. I'm sure Bill Clinton with his sympathy and John F. Kennedy with his sex appeal had it easier than Lincoln who was too skinny and ugly. And of course there are superficial fools who fall at the feet of cowboy and super-male attitudes that Reagan and W Bush once successfully used, that went so badly on Nixon and that are so poorly imitated by the current White House´s clown. But in the end, there are not many who vote for an affiliation. That's why not all women voted for Hillary and why there are so many young people who earnestly follow Grandpa Bernie. We just saw how Julián Castro looked at a debate, but that doesn't guarantee him the Hispanic vote, and even his last name may cause shock at some tables at the Versailles restaurant in Miami.
But let's talk about the black vote, the one that some say belongs to Biden because he was in the photo for eight years next to Obama or that Kamala or Corey want to earn by speaking Ebonics or showing a photo of a slave grandmother. It is a weak service that is done to a vibrant, culturally strong and politically participatory community by labeling it a vote-prone whether the candidate is black or not. Although discriminatory injustices with this minority still prevail and the history of cruel segregation remains not so far away in memory, this is not the 50s.  Today, a Barbara Walters doesn't have to give up the love of a young black politician because it would wreck his career. And no one could lift a Rosa Parks from her seat on a plane on her holiday to Europe. And Hattie McDaniel is not the only African-American actress to have won an Oscar. That is not to say that there are no inequalities and that there is no racism, misogyny and homophobia.  And the proof is the terrible events that have triggered much-needed movements like the Black Lives Matter or the Metoo.  But the American black population is also an educated voter who knows who to support and calls for that election program to include their rights to respect and fairness.
Yet we always have extreme voices, similar to those of nationalism and populism that fuel hatred and division with racial argument. Similar to how Heinrich Himmler encouraged the argument of a pure race with the only right to life, there are those who promulgate the harmful message that you deserve the best and not exactly the same as others for being black. those are some African-Americans who have called an Oreo Cookie to a black, Southern, poor, raped woman with enormous talent who became bimillonaire. For them, Oprah Winfrey is only black on the outside, but too white on the inside. One of those narrow-minded monsters is this cook who started recording street rhymes and became known as a mediocre rapper but who decided to live off scandalizing and generating crunch with the racial theme and gossips of all kinds. In his ego trips, he even made a short and frustrated career for mayor in Miami. Although he was named after Martin Luther King, this character's stage name comes from Star Wars. His name is Uncle Luke. It is a clone of Rush Limbaugh with more melanin, foreskin and vulgarity. And if you don't believe me, read this article of this enlightened guy.
According to this guy, no Democratic candidate deserves the black vote. So they deserve four more years from Darth Vader Covfefe. His criticism of Kamala Harris includes leaving a black lover for marrying a white man. Because for this galactic commentator, the color of the laser saber is what matters and interracial marriages are an abomination. Cory Booker isn't hip hop enough for Uncle Luke, and he hasn't heard yet that Cory's girlfriend is a latina newyorican actress. African-American Mayor Wayne Messam doesn't go to the debates because he didn't get the donations or the votes he needed, but according to Uncle Luke they've done it because of the color of his skin. And if you don't trust this, look at Pete Butiggieg who's in the polls just for being white and gay. Have you seen Luther what it took to be in the debates? And it's out of racism that they didn't accept Judge Rodney Smith's nomination for Trump that he's an arch-conservative as reluctant as Clarence Thomas, who by the way, is African-American too. And a lot of damage Thomas has done with his retrograde opinions on the Supreme Court. And both, like most conservative judges, are members of the Federalist Society.
Luckily most of the African-American community doesn't think like Uncle Luke, so "the force is not with him."
